Satan has convinced some of us that we are not good enough for God to use us as ministers. He will point out your past, he will point out your shortcomings, and he will point out when you miss the mark. He will beat you up in your mind and thought life, telling you that God can't use someone like you. He will tell you to wait until you get your act together.

Yep that is what he does, I know, I have been there. In fact, I am sure that every woman and man of God has been there. What we have to realize is that God has called all of us, with our faults, issues and failures, to minister and serve in the kingdom.

Look in the scriptures; Noah was a drinker, Moses was a murderer, so was David. Gideon was a coward, Rahab was a prostitute, Jacob was a con man, Samson was a reveler and we haven't even gotten to the apostles yet. I am sure in that bunch there were some procrastinators, liars, people who needed to go to anger management, selfish, unfaithful to their word people, folks who gossip and unkind ones too. I'd say we are in good company. Yet God took these people and changed the world.

The Lord has never had anyone who was qualified working for Him. It's by God's grace that He uses any of us. Anyone who claims to be used of God because of his great holiness is either deceived or a deceiver. It's our faith in the grace of God that allows miracles to flow through us. We have to listen to His voice and not the voice of the enemy.
